TL;DR: Your financial data stays on your device. We don't collect it, sell it, or share it. Period.

What We Collect

BillTrackr collects the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

Account information: Email address for authentication only
App usage: Anonymous crash reports and basic usage analytics (number of app opens, not financial data)

What We DO NOT Collect

BillTrackr does not collect, store, or transmit:

Your bill amounts, balances, or payment details
Your interest rates or loan terms
Your lender or creditor information
Your income, assets, or financial goals
Any financial data you enter into the app

All financial data you enter is stored locally on your device only. It is encrypted at rest using 256-bit AES encryption and protected by your device's biometric lock.

How Your Data is Stored

On-device only: All bill, balance, and rate data lives on your phone
Encrypted at rest: 256-bit AES encryption via your device's secure enclave
No cloud backup of financial data: Your financial details are never uploaded to our servers
Your device, your key: Only your biometric (Face ID, fingerprint) or device passcode can unlock your data

Data Export

You own your data. You can export all your financial information at any time in CSV or JSON format. We never restrict your ability to take your data elsewhere.

Third-Party Services

BillTrackr uses the following third-party services:

Authentication: Secure email-based sign-in
Crash reporting: Anonymous error reports to help us fix bugs (no financial data included)

We do not use advertising SDKs, data brokers, or analytics platforms that track your financial behavior.

Lender Referrals

When you choose to explore refinancing or consolidation options, BillTrackr may connect you with vetted lending partners. This happens only when you explicitly choose to take action. Your data is shared with a lender only after you consent on a per-interaction basis.

Data Deletion

Since your financial data lives on your device, deleting the app removes all financial data. Your account email can be deleted by contacting us.
